How do you price an engagement?+
We start with a short discovery to understand the outcome you want, then price the work to that outcome, not to hours on a clock. For defined builds that means a fixed project fee; for ongoing work it means a predictable monthly retainer. You always see the number before anything begins.
What happens if the scope changes?+
Scope changes are normal as you learn what the system can do. We flag the impact on cost and timeline before doing the work, agree on it in writing, and only then proceed. No silent overages, ever.
Do you work fixed-fee or on retainer?+
Both. Most clients start with a fixed project to prove the value on one workflow, then move to an operate-and-improve retainer once it’s live. If you need a broader, ongoing presence, our fractional AI & IT engagement covers the whole thing.
Who owns the code and the data?+
You do. The code, the configuration and the data are yours, hosted in your accounts wherever possible. We document everything and there is no lock-in, so you could take it elsewhere or in-house at any time.
How fast will I see a first result?+
For a focused first workflow, most clients are live within two to four weeks of kickoff. We deliberately start small and visible so you get a real result early, rather than waiting months for a big-bang launch.
What about ongoing maintenance?+
Every fixed project includes 30 days of support after launch. Beyond that, an operate-and-improve retainer keeps your automations monitored, patched and improving. If you’d rather maintain it yourself, the documentation and handover make that straightforward too.
